The Kill pips
The kill pips are the small, dark spots on a watermelon that indicate where it was cut from the vine. They’re completely harmless, but many people believe that they’re dangerous and will cause illness if consumed.
This belief is so widespread that some companies go to great lengths to remove the kill pips from their watermelons before selling them. But why? In this blog post, we’ll explore the origins of this rumor and whether there’s any truth to it.
Description forex The Kill pips
Forex, also known as foreign exchange or FX trading, is the process of buying and selling different currencies on the foreign exchange market. The aim of forex trading is to make a profit by exchanging one currency for another.
The foreign exchange market is a global, decentralized market where the world’s currencies trade. The main participants in this market are the large international banks. Financial institutions and central banks trade forex for a variety of reasons, including to manage their foreign exchange reserves, to speculate on the direction of currenciy pairs, and to provide liquidity to the market.
Individual investors can also participate in the forex market through online brokers. Online brokerages offer access to the interbank market without requiring traders to have large amounts of capital. This makes forex trading accessible to a wider range of people.
The most popular currency pairs traded in the forex market are EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, and USD/CHF. These currency pairs account for more than 80% of all trading volume in the forex market.
Review forex The Kill pips
If you’re new to forex trading, you may have heard of the “pips.” Pips are the smallest unit of price movement in the market and are used to calculate profits and losses. A pip is equal to 1/100th of a cent, so a move from 1.2350 to 1.2351 is one pip.
Most currency pairs are quoted to four decimal places, so a move from 1.2350 to 1.2351 is one pip. The exception is Japanese yen pairs, which are quoted to two decimal places. For example, if USD/JPY moves from 109.50 to 109.51, that’s one pip of movement.
Pip values can vary depending on the currency pair you’re trading and the lot size you’re using. A standard lot is 100,000 units of currency, but some brokers offer mini (10,000), micro (1,000), or nano (100) lots.
To calculate the value of one pip in a currency pair where your account is denominated in U.S., just divide 10,000 by the current exchange rate:
Value per pip = 10,000/exchange rate
For example, if EUR/USD is trading at 1.2500, each pip is worth $8 ($8 per pip = 10,000/1.25). If GBP/USD is trading at 1.5000, each pip is worth $6 ($6
